An Inter-Group Activity
The 24 hours of 22nd May are divided into 15 minute periods. Participants (individuals or groups) commit themselves to spend specific 15 minute periods in prayer or meditation for a world culture of co-operation, justice and peace. Each 15 minute period is to begin and end with a sounding of the Great Invocation. There is no limit to the number of 15 minute periods you can register for.
The Triangle Centre is again participating in a vigil during which the Great Invocation will be sounded across the country. This will be a nation-wide co-operative effort with individuals and/or groups taking responsibility for a period of time in the 24 hours. During the chosen 'slot' of time that individual or group will use the Great Invocation at least once each quarter hour. For example, if a group or individual takes responsibility for a 45 minute slot, (say 10.00 - 10.45 am) they will use the Great Invocation a minimum of 4 times (10; 10.15; 10.30; 10.45).
The World Invocation Day Vigil is co-ordinated by Intuition in Service.
